Travail accompli

Avec l’aide du très gentil Leif, nous avons réalisé les tâches sysadministratives suivantes:

[ X ] Nous avons renforcé le moteur nginx de Mille feuilles avec des mesures qui, en théorie, vont aider à protéger nos utilisateurices des attaques «header injection»

[ X ] Nous avons installé ce microblog (blog.millefeuilles.cloud) pour que, entre autres, les utilisateurices de Mille feuilles avec des comptes Mastodon peuvent voir les mises à jour et recevoir des nouvelles sur le site, sans avoir nécessairement à suivre le compte perso de Gersande

Pendant le travail, on a eu quelques heures pendant lesquelles le site Mille feuilles n'était pas toujours accessible, mais le site fonctionne bien maintenant. Grand merci pour votre patience, Millefeuillien.ne.s!

Quelques tâches pour moi:

[ ] Créer un environnement de déboggage local pour pouvoir tester les changements localement avant d'emmerder tous mes utilisateurices avec mon incompétence [ ] Traduire la politique sur la protection des données (vie privée) vers le français [ ] Traduire la charte communautaire (code of conduct) vers le français [ ] Mille feuilles est parfois lent — que faire?

Work accomplished

With the assistance of a very kind Leif, we have accomplished the following sysadmin tasks tonight:

[ X ] We reinforced Mille feuilles' nginx engine — in theory, Mille feuilles users are now more protected from “header injection” attacks

[ X ] We installed this microblog (blog.millefeuilles.cloud) so that, among other reasons, Mille feuilles users with Mastodon accounts can follow updates about Mille feuilles without having to follow my chaotic personal account

During our work tonight, we had a few hours of downtime for Mille feuilles. The site is back up and should not have any issues going forward. Big thanks for your patience, Millefeuillans!
